In our house, when it comes to popcorn, very little beats homemade. Well, maybe except quick homemade popcorn 🙂
1/4 plus cup popcorn kernels
1 1/2 Tbsp oil – Canola, Veggie, Grapeseed are all great oils to use
pinch of salt
1 brown paper bag – any size will work, but the larger the better
In a brown paper bag pour/scoop/dump approx. a 1/4 cup (can be a bit more) of popcorn kernels.
Drizzle oil over the kernels and sprinkle in salt.
Fold the top of the bag over into thirds and microwave for 2 minutes, or until the kernels stop popping.
Transfer to your favorite bowl, or another brown bag for on the go eating!
Serves 2-3 people.
