Anna Banana “Smoothie” – gluten-free, dairy-free


My girl-friend Anna recently introduced me to pea protein powder, a “Non-GMO vegetable protein isolate that contains an impressive 28 grams of easily-digested protein” ( I was so intrigued, that I immediately rushed home to make a smoothie with it!

This recipe is an adaptation of our host son’s Banana Milk Recipe. Here is it:

Anna Banana Smoothie

3 ripe bananas, peeled
2 Tbs pea protein – we used Now Sports Pea Protein
3 cups  rice milk
7 ice cubes
1 cap full vanilla (optional)

In a blender, add bananas, pea protein, rice milk, ice cubes, and vanilla. Blend on HIGH until everything  until everything is well incorporated.

Serve immediately!

Serves: 4
